What We Collect

• Personal Information: Name, contact details, gender, date of birth, height, weight, and other info you provide when creating an account.
• Device & Activity Data: Steps, sleep, heart rate, temperature, HRV, and other health metrics recorded by your ChiroRing device and app.
• App Usage Data: How you interact with the app, device info, and feedback you provide.

App Permissions

ChiroRing requests access to the following device features and data:

• Bluetooth: To connect with your ChiroRing device.
• Health Data (Apple Health, Google Fit): If enabled, used only to provide health insights. Never used for marketing or shared without consent.
• Notifications: To send reminders and updates, if enabled.

If you integrate with Apple HealthKit or Google Fit, we only use that data to provide wellness features within ChiroRing. We do not use HealthKit or Google Fit data for advertising, marketing, or data mining. You control what is shared.

How We Use Your Information

• To set up and manage your account.
• To provide personalised insights and wellness tracking.
• To improve app performance and offer support.
• To send notifications and reminders, if enabled.

We do not use your health or biometric data for advertising or sell/share your data for marketing purposes. Your data is not used for profiling, automated decision-making, or determining eligibility for insurance, employment, or other services.

Sharing & Security

We do not share your personal data with third parties unless required by law or necessary to operate our services (e.g., secure cloud storage). Service providers are contractually required to protect your data.

If data is transferred outside Singapore, we ensure a comparable level of protection.

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols (TLS/SSL, AES) with strict access controls. We perform regular security audits. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and authorities as required by law.

Your Rights & Choices

• Access & Update: Manage your info in the app.
• Delete: You may delete your account anytime. Most data is deleted within 30 days; backups up to 90 days.
• Consent: Withdraw permissions anytime in device/app settings.
• Control: Manage data sharing, notifications, and integrations.
• Data Copy: Request a copy of your personal data by contacting us.

You can manage or revoke access to your health and biometric data anytime in your device settings.

Data Retention

We keep your data only as long as necessary to provide services or as required by law.

Children's Privacy

ChiroRing is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

International Users

Users in the EU, UK, or other regions with data protection laws may have additional rights. We comply with applicable regulations and respond to data-related requests as required.
